Jabalpur, May 5 (Hindustan Reporter) Jabalpur . An 18-year-old girl, resident of Tilwara police station area of Jabalpur, the cultural capital of Madhya Pradesh, suddenly went missing on April 29. Her relatives had registered her missing complaint. To trace the girl, the police searched her mobile phone records and found out that she had regular phone conversations with Sheikh Ahmed, a resident of Telangana, through the internet.
In this regard, it was revealed that during the conversation they grew closer and he married her over video call. After this, one day the accused came to Jabalpur and took the girl with him to Hyderabad. Where, after reaching there, he forcibly converted the girl. When the police team gathered information about Sheikh Ahmed, it came to light that he had come to Jabalpur on 29 April. The location of both his phones was found in Hyderabad via Nagpur, Karimpur. On this basis, the police reached Hyderabad, searched the girl and arrested Sheikh Ahmed.
At the same time, in this case, the police has told that Sheikh Ahmed, accused of religiously tricking the girl and forcing the girl to marry, has been arrested. A case has been registered against him under Madhya Pradesh Religious Freedom Act.
