'Nothing to say right now…' Hardik's unique reaction on MI's poor performance

The 50th match of IPL 2024 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. Kolkata has created history by defeating MI in this match. KKR won against Mumbai at Wankhede after 2012. After this defeat, Mumbai is almost out of the race for the playoffs. This defeat against KKR is their 8th defeat of the season. Mumbai is ranked ninth in the points table and that is why their captain Hardik Pandya is finding it difficult to answer.

Kolkata created history

Mumbai Indians had to face defeat against Kolkata by 24 runs. Playing first, Kolkata Knight Riders were out for 169 runs in 19.5 overs. Mumbai Indians got the challenge of 170 runs. According to cricket pundits, this challenge was easy for Mumbai. KKR scored 20-30 runs less. KKR bowlers also all out Mumbai Indians and they could score only 145 runs. This is the fourth time in the history of IPL when both the teams have been out in the same match.

Hardik's captaincy statistics

Before the start of IPL 2024, Mumbai franchise has appointed Hardik Pandya as its captain in place of Rohit Sharma. But, he did not get the kind of results he expected from Hardik. In IPL 2024, Mumbai has lost 8 out of 11 matches played so far. If we look at Hardik Pandya's captaincy in IPL, he did not lose 8 matches even while captaining Gujarat Titans in 2 seasons. As captain of Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandya has lost only 7 matches in the IPL 2022 and 2023 seasons.

After the poor performance of Mumbai Indians against Gujarat Titans, now it has become difficult for Hardik Pandya to answer.
