A horrific road accident took place near Chunakhal on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road in Uttarakhand. Five people died in this accident. At around 5.30 am on Saturday morning, an SUV lost control and collided with a rock on the roadside. Information about this serious accident was given to Mussoorie Police. On receiving information, Mussoorie police reached the spot along with SDRF and took out the bodies. Also the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
IMS University student injured in accident
According to the information received, all the students traveling in the SUV car had come from Dehradun to visit Mussoorie. Those who died in the accident include the names of Aman Singh, Dingyash Pratap, Tanuja Rawat, Ashutosh Tiwari and Hridayansh Chandra. All of them were students. Nayanshree, the girl injured in the accident, is a student of IMS University.
Names of students of IMS universities
According to the information, Aman Singh Rana was a resident of Shankarpur. Whereas, Dingyash Pratap was a resident of Jwalapur, Haridwar. Dingyash's age is said to be 23 years. Tanuja Rawat was also a resident of Haridwar. All four were students of IMS University. Meanwhile, Ashutosh Tiwari is a resident of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Whereas, Hridayansh Chandra is a resident of Sonbhadra. Hridayansh was a student of DIT University.
The body will be handed over to the family after postmortem.
A police officer said that the accident happened at 5.30 am today. There were six people in the car, five of whom died. Information has been sent to the families of the deceased. The body will be handed over to the family after postmortem.
