East Champaran, 03 May (H.I.S.). A monthly crime seminar was organized on Friday in the auditorium located at Raxaul sub-divisional police office of the district. The meeting was presided over by DSP Dhirendra Kumar.
Addressing the meeting, DSP Shri Kumar directed the police station incharges to be especially cautious regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Also reviewed the cases registered in different police stations of the sub-division, along with timely execution of the pending cases, directed to arrest the absconding accused in different cases and issue court warrants.
He gave special instructions to the police station chiefs of the border police stations along the border with Nepal to keep an eye on illegal activities on the border and strengthen crime intelligence to curb liquor smuggling. Instructed to regularly check CCTV cameras installed in banks, keep an eye on suspects and do regular vehicle checks. Instructed to investigate and take action against those roaming around on motorcycles at night without any work.

All the police station heads of the sub-division including N Pandey, Palanwa Ramesh Mahato, Bhelahi Nitin Kumar were present.
