Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana PMJAY or Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a healthcare scheme of the government. Under this scheme, needy citizens get the benefit of free treatment in designated government hospitals. If you have Ayushman Bharat card, you will not have to pay a single rupee for treatment in any hospital where this scheme is applicable.
However, to avail the benefits of this scheme, every citizen is required to have an Ayushman Bharat card. If you do not have Ayushmaan Bharat Card then first check whether you are eligible to get this card or not. If yes, and you do not have a card, then first of all you should get the card. Now you can download this lifetime card in PDF format on your phone or computer.
Follow the steps given below to download Ayushmaan Card.
Phase 1: First of all go to www.pmjay.gov.in website. This is the official website of Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
Phase 2: Now here at the top, Am I eligible option will appear. Tap on this.
step 3: Later you will have to login. For this, enter the number linked to your Ayushman Bharat card.
step 4: Now an OTP will be generated on your registered mobile number which has been added to the beneficiary list. Confirm by entering this OTP.
Step 5: Once you confirm, the automated page will take you to the Ayushman Bharat Card download page. This card is also known as PMJAY card.
Step 6: Now click on the Download Card button to download Ayushman Bharat Card.
Step 7: As soon as you tap on download, a pop up will open on your computer screen to save the card. If you are a mobile user, your card will be downloaded automatically.
Step 8: Once the card is downloaded, open and check the PDF of Ayushman Bharat Card. You can also take a printout of this card. You can also take the PDF copy with you for treatment.
