NASA says the laser signal came from NASA's new spacecraft Psyche. NASA launches a space mission in October 2023. Under that mission, a spacecraft named Psych-16 was sent to a very small planet (Shudragraha). It is estimated that Shudragriha is mainly made of metal. It is also believed that such an asteroid is rare in our solar system. This Shudragraha is located between Mars and Jupiter in the Shudragraha belt.
