At the same time, due to the wedding season, the two-wheeler segment may register good growth. According to Jefferies, TVS Motors, Bajaj and Hero MotoCorp can register a growth of 15 to 18 percent compared to last year. The tractor segment may remain at last year's level. Nomura estimates that the industry may register a growth of 5 percent in the financial year 2025. The growth of truck segment may be around 5 percent.
How will companies perform?
According to Nomura data, Hero MotoCorp's sales in April may increase by 27.5 percent to 5,05,000 units from 3,96,107 units on a year-on-year basis.
At the same time, sales of TVS Motors can reach 3,63,000 units with an increase of 18.5 percent compared to last year. Bajaj Auto sales may reach 3,64,000 with an increase of 9.9 percent.
Nomura estimates Mahindra & Mahindra Auto sales to rise 10.8 percent to 69,000 units. Whereas sales of Mahindra & Mahindra tractors may increase from 36,405 units to 36,500 units.
Compared to last year, Maruti's sales are expected to increase by 8.1 percent, Tata Motors' sales by 8.6 percent and Ashok Leyland's sales by 6.4 percent.
