Ranchi, 30 April (HS). Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) released the intermediate examination results on Tuesday. 90.60 percent students have been successful in commerce, 93.16 percent in arts, 83 percent in vocational and 72.72 percent in science. This is the first time that JAC has released the exam results of all three streams simultaneously.
Secretary in-charge of Education Department Uma Shankar Singh, Director of Secondary Education Utkarsh Gupta and JAC President Anil Mahato jointly released the Inter Board results. Secretary in-charge of the Education Department, Uma Shankar Singh said that the result has declined due to change in the examination pattern. Also told that the results in Physics and Chemistry were not satisfactory.
This year 03 lakh 44 thousand candidates appeared in the 12th board examination. Of these, 94,433 candidates appeared for Science, 25,907 for Commerce and 2,24,502 for Arts. Of these, 72.70 percent have passed. Students can check the results on the official websites of JAC, jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
93.7 percent students have passed in Arts. There are 83404 students in first division. A total of 02 lakh 24 thousand 502 students had registered in Arts. Of these, only 02 lakh 06 thousand 685 students passed the examination. 90.06 percent (23235) students have passed in Commerce. 61 percent candidates have passed in first division. A total of 25907 students had registered in Commerce. In this only 25644 candidates appeared in the examination.
94433 students had registered in Science. Of these, 93,805 students appeared in the examination and 68,203 students passed the examination, in which 72.70 percent students passed in first division. 508 candidates had registered in vocational. Of these, only 493 students appeared in the examination and 439 students i.e. 89.22 percent students passed. In science, 72.2 percent boys and 72.67 percent girls have passed. 93 percent girls have been successful in commerce. Girls also remained ahead in arts.

The JAC 12th board exam was conducted in the second shift from February 6 to 26, while the practical exam was held from February 27 to March 5. A total of 740 examination centers were created for the board examination.
JACK had earlier released the result of Secondary Board Examination (10th Board) on April 19. 90.39 percent children had achieved success in the matriculation examination. In the year 2024, 4,21,687 (1,91,262 boys and 2,00,549 girls) students had registered but only 418623 candidates appeared in the examination. Of these, 3,38,398 (90.39 percent) students passed the examination. In this, 2,05,110 candidates (54.20 percent) passed in first division, 1,53,733 (40.65 percent) passed in second division and 19,555 (5.17 percent) passed in third division.
