Mumbai: Gold and silver prices in Mumbai's jewelery market increased again after facing the shock. Market experts were saying that the domestic import cost has increased due to the fall of the rupee against the dollar. However, gold prices in the world market fell from 2337 to 2338 to 2320 to 2329 to 2330 dollars an ounce.
Silver prices today remained calm at Rs 81000 per kg in Ahmedabad market, while gold prices fell by Rs 200 per 10 grams to Rs 99.50 per kg and Rs 74500 per 10 grams in Ahmedabad to Rs 99.90 per kg. In the global market, silver prices ranged from $27.20 to $27.21, $27.43 to $27.43 an ounce, $27.20 to $26.94 an ounce.
Meanwhile, global platinum prices stood at $935 an ounce. Today palladium stood at $963, copper prices increased by 0.81 percent. However, global crude oil prices witnessed a slow decline today.
The price of Brent crude was $ 89.24 against $ 89.50 per barrel and the price of US crude was $ 83.77 against $ 83.85. In Mumbai bullion market today the price of gold without GST was Rs 72083 at 99.50 while at 99.90 the price was Rs 72373.
Mumbai silver prices rose to Rs 81,128 from Rs 80,800 without GST. Crude oil prices were under pressure in the world market due to discussions on the possibility of a ceasefire in the Gaza conflict between Israel and Hamas.
