Harda, 28 April (HS). Collector Aditya Singh conducted a surprise inspection of the hospital and agricultural produce market of Khirkiya on Sunday. During this time, he visited the hospital and the market premises and saw the arrangements there and held a meeting with the officers present and gave instructions to the Block Medical Officer and the Market Secretary for necessary improvements in the arrangements. During this time SDM Sanjeev Nagu was also present.
During the market inspection, Collector Singh took information regarding the income received by the market from the collection of market fees and the facilities available to the farmers in the market. During this time, Mandi Khirkiya's accountant Vimlesh Uike, clerk Sandeep Kaushal, Guru Baksh Bhatia and Ram Shankar Banke were found absent. The Collector issued show cause notices against the four absent employees and directed SDM Nagu to initiate disciplinary proceedings against them. He instructed the SDM and Tehsildar of Khirkiya to keep inspecting the arrangements of the agricultural produce market from time to time. The Collector also asked to issue a show cause notice against Mandi Secretary Ashok Dhurve as he could not provide the information wanted by the Collector.
Khirkiya hospital was also inspected
The Collector also inspected the Community Health Center and Nutrition Rehabilitation Center of Khirkiya. He took information from the mothers of children admitted in the Nutrition Rehabilitation Center regarding the facilities available there. He instructed the Development Block Medical Officer Khirkiya to provide necessary facilities to the patients in Khirkiya Hospital through the Patient Welfare Committee. The Collector also took information regarding the vacant posts in the hospital.
Saw the work of commissioning of electronic voting machine
All necessary preparations are being made by the district administration before the voting for Lok Sabha elections on 7th May. In this sequence, the work of commissioning of electronic voting machines started on Saturday, which continued on Sunday also. Collector and District Election Officer Aditya Singh reached Polytechnic College on Sunday and saw the commissioning of electronic voting machines and gave necessary instructions to the present Assistant Returning Officer Mahesh Badole and Assistant Returning Officer Kumar Sanu. He instructed the officers present to complete this work within the stipulated time limit by Monday evening.
Reviewed the arrangements of Harda Agricultural Produce Market
Collector Aditya Singh on Sunday reviewed the arrangements of Harda's agricultural produce market and the progress of procurement work. In the meeting held at Balram Bhawan in the market premises of Harda, the Collector took information regarding the current procurement in the market, commodity wise inward and outward movement, mandi fee received and other administrative arrangements. The Collector instructed the officers present to improve the arrangements of the agricultural produce market. Market Secretary Mohan Singh Chauhan, Assistant Engineer Mukesh Sharma and Deputy Engineer Subhash Patidar and other market employees were present in the meeting.
Collector honored meritorious students
Collector Aditya Singh on Sunday honored the meritorious students who found place in the merit list of high school and higher secondary examinations of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education by garlanding them and giving them citations. District Panchayat CEO Rohit Sisonia, District Education Officer PM Singh and Assistant Director Education Balwant Patel were also present on the occasion.
The students who were honored on the occasion included Kushagra Jain, Paras Vishwakarma, Rizwana Khan, Yogesh Malviya, Akanksha Joshi, Saloni Jain, Mohini Singh and Shreya Punase, who passed class 12th and Chhavi Pandey, a student who passed class 10th, Yashika Kushwaha. And celebrations were included. The Collector congratulated all the meritorious students, their parents and their teachers present on this occasion. He said that after passing class 12th, many paths open up for the bright future of the students.
