There has been a change in the weather once again in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal hills received heavy snowfall on Saturday amid Orange Alert, blocking around 60 state roads and three national highways. According to data from the State Emergency Operation Centre, around 60 roads are closed in Lahaul, Spiti, Chamba, Kangra and Kullu.

Storm, hailstorm and rain forecast in 10 districts of the state
There is a possibility of heavy rain in Mandi, Kangra, Chamba, Kullu, Bilaspur and Hamirpur. During this period the temperature is likely to remain below normal, after which the weather will remain clear after May 1. Let us tell you that on Friday itself, the Meteorological Department had predicted storm, hailstorm and rain in 10 districts of the state in 48 hours.
The number of tourists increased over the weekend
An increase in the number of tourists has been seen in Himachal during weekends. An increase in the number of tourists was seen on Saturday. 70 percent hotels were booked in Kasauli, apart from this 60 percent hotels were booked in Shimla also. Along with this, a large number of tourists also reached Manali-Kullu and Dalhousie. Due to increasing heat, people from Punjab, Haryana and Delhi are moving towards Himachal. Due to increase in the number of tourists, long queues of vehicles were seen on the Kalka-Shimla Highway.
