Raipur, 27 April (HS). Under the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, today on Saturday, Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Singh inspected the polling centers of Raipur South Assembly.
Reached the polling center and gave necessary instructions along with ensuring basic arrangements. He visited polling centers having more than 5 booths and gave instructions to ensure facilities like transportation, lights, fans, drinking water, toilets etc. in the centres.
In polling stations, voters have been instructed to have benches to sit on instead of standing in queues. After looking at the arrangements for the stay of the polling party in the polling centres, instructions were given to strengthen the arrangements.
District Election Officer and Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh said that apart from the voter and the polling party, we are working in this direction to provide minimum problems and maximum relief to every person on polling duty. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, SDM Nandkumar Choubey and many officers and employees were present.
