Ranchi, April 27 (Hindustan Reporter) A special Lok Adalat was organized on Saturday in connection with check bounce and electricity related matters in the state. In this, a total of 24727 pre-litigation and 3250 pending cases were executed. Also a total amount of Rs 270528545 was executed. Jhalsa was preparing to organize this special Lok Adalat for a month.
On behalf of Jhalsa's Member Secretary Kumari Ranjana Asthana, a review meeting was also held on April 22 with the concerned judicial officers and representatives of departments of all the districts. On behalf of Jhalsa, all the district legal service authorities were instructed through a letter to organize the said special Lok Adalat.
Apart from this, SOP was also issued, after which a meeting was held on April 6 on behalf of the concerned DALSA President with judicial officers and representatives of departments. Notices were issued to the parties. It is noteworthy that this special Lok Adalat was successfully organized by Jhalsa on the directions of Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad of Jharkhand High Court, Executive President of Jhalsa.
