Chandigarh: Another police officer, ESI Kaushal Kumar, posted at Shambhu border died in the farmers' movement. Today, while on duty, ESI Kaushal Kumar's health suddenly deteriorated, after which he was immediately taken to Ambala Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Director General of Police Shatrujit Kapoor expressed grief over his death and prayed to God for the peace of his soul.
According to the report, ESI Kaushal Kumar was put on duty under the bridge near Ghaggar river during the farmers' movement. 56-year-old Kaushal was a resident of village Kanjiwas in Yamunanagar district and was posted as a policeman at Chappar police station. Haryana Police and his family are saddened by the news of his death.
Kaushal Kumar always performed his duty with full seriousness and dedication. He was an inspiration to his fellow policemen. During his service, he did many commendable and exemplary works. His sudden demise is an irreparable loss to Haryana Police and a reminder of the sacrifices of our security personnel.
GRP SI died on 16 February
Let us tell you that on February 16, GRP Sub Inspector Hiralal posted at Shambhu border also died suddenly due to ill health. This is the second policeman of Haryana Police to be martyred while on duty at Shambhu Border during the farmers' movement. The death of these two policemen is very sad for Haryana Police.
