Bhopal, 27 April (HS). The film 'Who Am I' was screened by Satpura Chalachitra Samiti on Saturday at Mama Manikchand Vajpayee Auditorium of Vishwa Samvad Kendra in the capital Bhopal. This film is based on the novel 'Ko Aham' by Narmadapuram's renowned novelist Ashok Jamnani. On this occasion he also interacted with the audience. The film focuses on the journey of self-realization. The film was shot in Madhya Pradesh. Its producer-director Shirish Khemaria is also from Madhya Pradesh.
While discussing with film critic Vinod Nagar, writer Ashok Jamnani said that this film has been appreciated in film festivals organized in 20 countries of the world. Jamnani also shared interesting stories related to the making of the film and its story with the audience. At the same time, Vinod Nagar said that cinema is something beyond stars. Ashok Jamnani has pulled a new leak. He plays the role of screenwriter and lyricist along with the author of the novel.
He said that it is our misfortune that Bollywood filmmakers shot movies in Madhya Pradesh but they did not show the location of our state. Neither mentioned our heritage. But the film 'Who Am I' was wonderfully crafted. All the locations are from the state. The sound design in this is of international level. The actors have performed amazingly in the film.
