Udhampur, 27 April (HS). As part of their study tour, Semester 6 undergraduate students of Chemistry Department of Government College for Women (GCW), Udhampur visited Shriram Industries, a cement factory at Battalbaliya, Udhampur.
The one-day industrial visit was organized by the Department of Chemistry under the guidance of College Principal Dr. Nalini Pathania and Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Indu Khajuria.
The objective of this visit was to provide practical experience of the industrial sector to the students. During the visit, students conducted informative sessions on site, participated in equipment and interactive workshops. College Principal Dr. Nalini Pathania congratulated and appreciated the efforts.
Dr. Indu Khajuria, Dr. Monica Gupta, Dr. Madhavi Bhardwaj, Dr. Shubham Sharma and Babli also participated in the yatra.
