A few days ago, when the Prime Minister of Pakistan had a meeting with the businessmen of the country, he was requested to extend the hand of friendship towards Imran Khan. The logic behind this was that stability is necessary for the progress of the country, because peace in the country is necessary for any economy to flourish. After this, there were speculations that there would be talks between the two leaders but a message from Imran Khan put an end to these speculations.
I will never compromise with the freedom of my country
In a message issued on Friday on the occasion of the 28th establishment of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party, Imran Khan said that dictatorship has been imposed on the country, which is becoming the basis for the destruction of economy, governance, democracy and judiciary. Addressing the people of the country, Imran Khan said, “My message to the country is that I will make any sacrifice necessary for real freedom but will never compromise with the freedom of my country.
Ready to spend nine more years in jail.
Imran Khan also said in the message that he has been kept in jail for the last nine months in fake and fabricated cases. He further said, 'If I have to spend nine more years in jail, I will stay in jail but I will never be reconciled to those who have enslaved my country.'
Give priority to country's security
The message from the former Pakistan prime minister comes after PTI leader Shaharyar Afridi claimed that the party will not hold talks with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari-led Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz following recent overtures to them. Afridi said, we will talk to the Army Chief, Director General of ISI and the Army because the need of the hour is to give priority to the country's security.
