Weather Update: Monsoon alert in West Bengal-Maharashtra, heat increasing in Delhi, know weather forecast

Weather Update: The temperature is increasing rapidly across the country. Heat wave warning has been issued by the Meteorological Department in many areas. The department has expressed the possibility of heat wave in Thane, Raigarh and Mumbai of West Bengal and Maharashtra.

According to the department, heat wave may prevail in Thane and Raigarh and many parts of Mumbai between April 27 and April 29. With this, the maximum temperature in Delhi today may cross 40 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has said that normal life will be affected due to heat wave in South West Bengal till April 30. The IMD has advised people not to stay in the sun for too long, drink enough water, wear cotton clothes and cover their heads while going out in the sun.

Regarding the weather of Delhi, the Meteorological Department has said that the minimum temperature on Friday was 21.6 degrees Celsius. The department says that the maximum temperature can reach 40 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Along with this, the department has said that it may remain partly cloudy and winds may blow.

Apart from this, people in Maharashtra have also been advised to avoid heat wave. There is a possibility of heat wave in many parts of Thane, Raigarh and Mumbai from 27 to 29 April. The temperature may be very high on 27th and 28th. It is noteworthy that this is the second warning issued regarding heat wave in Mumbai and surrounding areas.

The Meteorological Department has also announced a warning regarding West Bengal. Normal life will be severely affected due to heat wave in South West Bengal till April 30. On Friday, the temperature was recorded at 44.7 degrees Celsius in Kalainkunda in West Medinipur district. Which is 7.9 degrees Celsius more than normal. The maximum temperature in Kolkata can reach 39.7 degrees Celsius. Here, according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heat wave continuing for the next five days.
