India Philippines: India gave BrahMos supersonic to Philippines, created panic in Chinese army

China is angry with India sending the first batch of BrahMos missiles to the Philippines. The Chinese Army has issued a statement calling it a threat to third countries. BrahMos missile is considered to be one of the fastest supersonic cruise missiles in the world. It is capable of attacking targets from land, air and sea. Now China has said that defense cooperation between the two countries should be ensured that it does not harm any third party or regional peace there.

India handed over the first batch of BrahMos missiles to the Philippines on April 19.

In fact, a $375 million deal was signed between India and the Philippines in January 2022 regarding BrahMos missiles, under which India will hand over three batteries with BrahMos missiles, their launchers and related materials to the Philippines. India handed over the first batch of BrahMos missiles to the Philippines on April 19, after which China was stunned. This is the first export of BrahMos missile from India.

Tension in South China Sea

India has sent the first batch of BrahMos missiles at a time when China is having a dispute with five countries in the South China Sea. Actually, China claims the South China Sea, while on the other hand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan also claim it. When Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson Colonel Wu Qian was asked on this issue, he said that China always takes care that defense cooperation between the two countries does not harm any third country.

China opposed America

Meanwhile, China's spokesperson strongly opposed America's deployment of ballistic missiles in the China-Asia Pacific Ocean. The Chinese spokesperson said that our position on this is clear and logical. This step of America has posed a serious threat to the security of regional countries. This disrupts the peace and stability of the region.
