New Delhi: Taking action for the first time on complaints of violation of election code of conduct against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Election Commission has issued a notice to BJP President JP Nadda. This notice has been issued on the basis of the complaint of Congress. In this complaint, Congress has alleged that Prime Minister Modi has given a divisive speech in Banswara, Rajasthan.
However, the Election Commission has also issued a notice to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge regarding Rahul Gandhi's remarks. The Election Commission has ordered both the parties to file their replies by 11 am on April 29.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in a rally in Banswara, Rajasthan on April 21 that if the Congress government comes to power, people's property will be snatched away and distributed among those who have more children and those who are infiltrators.
Prime Minister Modi said that Congress has written in the election manifesto that after forming the government, we will count the sleep of mothers and sisters, collect the information and then distribute it. Congress complained to the Election Commission regarding this statement of Modi.
On the other hand, BJP alleged that Rahul Gandhi is spreading confusion among the people in Tamil Nadu on the basis of language. BJP leaders claimed that Rahul Gandhi in his speeches is trying to divide North and South India on the basis of language.
According to BJP's complaint, Rahul has alleged that the Prime Minister is attacking our language, history and tradition. The Prime Minister is working on the policy of one nation, one language and one religion.
