According to a report, after receiving threats, Justice Ravi Diwakar wrote a letter to SSP Sushil Chandrabhan Ghule saying that he was receiving threatening calls from international numbers. Earlier, after the Gyanvapi verdict, the Allahabad High Court had allowed Y category security for the judge and his family, although it was later reduced to X category. A person close to Judge Ravi Diwakar said that at present there are two security guards under his protection. However, they do not have effective weapons that can fight with modern weapons.
