Patna Fire : A massive fire broke out in a hotel and two shops on Fraser Road in Patna, Bihar this morning. A total of 6 people have died in this incident so far. The fire was so severe that all roads had to be closed and there was chaos in the surrounding areas. Apart from the hotel, there were also shops in the building where the fire broke out. At present, 20 to 25 vehicles of Kotwali police station staff and fire brigade are trying to control the fire.
20 fire brigade vehicles on the spot
Rescue workers have so far saved 25 to 30 people. Some rescue workers are also reported to be partially injured in the fire that broke out in the building. Those who died have not been identified yet. The injured people have been admitted to the hospital. So far, 6 people have died due to the fire, while the condition of four women is critical.
18 people admitted to hospital
PMCH Principal Dr. Vidyapati Chaudhary said that so far 18 patients have been admitted to the hospital, out of which six have died. While 12 people are undergoing treatment in ICU. In this terrible tragedy, Pal Hotel and the nearby hotel were completely burnt to ashes.
More than a dozen cars were also burnt
Fire Brigade Division DIG Mrityunjay Choudhary said that till now 25 to 30 people have been evacuated. Rescue operation is still going on. More than a dozen cars below the hotel were also burnt in this massive fire. Six more ambulances have been called to the scene.
