If India had Krister Maz-2 at the time of Balakot airstrike, it would have destroyed Pakistan

Balakot Airstrike: Now a missile has been included in the defense treasury of the Indian Air Force which can destroy Pakistan without crossing the border. Israel's medium-range air-launched ballistic missile – ALBM Crystal Maze – II was successfully test-fired on Tuesday, April 23. If India had this missile at the time of Balakot airstrike, there would have been no need to cross the border to avenge the Pulwama attack. This missile with a range of 250 km can target many areas of Pakistan even while remaining in the country. This is completely different from the Crystal Table-1 available in India. Now the Air Force is going to start mass production of missile systems taken from Israel under the Make in India campaign.

Crystal Maze-II launched from Su-30 MKI on Tuesday

Crystal Maze-II was launched from Su-30 MKI on Tuesday. It can be launched from a variety of platforms including aircraft and submarines. The Defense Ministry said in a statement that the missile was successfully tested under the supervision of the Strategic Force Command SFC. This missile can dodge enemy defense systems and can operate even in non-GPS areas. There is a lot of discussion about ALBM missile amid the war between Russia and Ukraine. Russia has deployed ALBM missiles on combat aircraft within its territory and beyond the range of Ukrainian air defense systems.

Balakot is 81 km away from India

In response to the Pulwama attack in 2019, India had destroyed the training camps of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed by carrying out an airstrike on Balakot in Pakistan. For this attack, Air Force personnel had to cross the Line of Control, but if Crystal Maze II had been with the Air Force at that time, it would have wreaked havoc from India to Pakistan. Balakot is 81 km from Uri in Jammu and Kashmir and 50 km from the Line of Control. Targets in this range can be hit with Crystal Maze-2 missile.

What are the special features of Crystal Maze – 2?

Crystal Maze-II is an extended stand-off missile capable of air-to-surface attack. When launched, this missile with a range of 250 km first moves upwards and then moves rapidly towards its target. This missile can also change targets during flight and is capable of operating in all weather conditions. This missile can be deployed on any type of aircraft with explosive warhead. The Crystal Maze-2 missile can also be installed on the Sukhoi-30 MKI, Mirage-III/V, Su-24 and Cheetah. Apart from this, it can also be integrated with MiG-29, SU-27/3, Mirage 2000 and Tornado.

can work in any weather

Crystal Maze-2 can dodge enemy ballistic missile defense systems and attack targets with pinpoint accuracy even in non-GPS areas. The Air Force plans to use it to attack high-value stationary and continuously moving targets such as enemy long-range radars and air defense systems. Another specialty of the Crystal Maze-2 missile is that its control can be transferred from one platform to another. The aircraft is not required to maintain control of the missile after launch. Controls can be moved to other platforms.
