Famous TV and film actor Rituraj Singh has died due to a heart attack at the age of 59. Rituraj's friend Amit Bahal told that Rituraj was admitted to the hospital a few days ago due to pancreas related problem. According to him, his condition was improving significantly and he was returning home but on the way he suffered a heart attack and died.
Rituraj was in the lead role in Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
The actor was recently seen in Rohit Shetty's web series Indian Police Force. Apart from this, he has been seen in lead roles in many films like Jersey and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Rituraj has appeared in many TV serials like Anupama, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Jyoti, Hitler Didi, Voth, Yoddha, Aahat. People have chosen his negative characters in many serials.
Started acting at the age of 12
Rituraj always wanted to become an actor. So at the age of 12 he joined a theater group, after doing theater for 12 years he became a part of two English films.
Came to Mumbai in 1993, then why started with TV?
Rituraj came to Mumbai in 1993 with the dream of becoming a hero in films. He had said in an interview that perhaps it was wrong for him to come to Mumbai because by then Shahrukh Khan had done the serial 'Army' and a lot had been written about him. This means that the standards were set for them first. Rituraj was trying to make his place in the industry. He also gave many auditions but got less work. He was lucky that at the same time Zee TV was launched and with the launch of Zee TV, Rituraj's career also started with the serial 'Banegi Apni Baat'. Rituraj remained a part of this show for 6 years.
