The petitioner's lawyer told the court that, 'CBI investigation is still going on in the matter related to Delhi Liquor Policy.' In response to which CBI opposed his argument. The applicant's lawyer told the court that, 'During the hearing of the case, the IO had said that the investigation would be completed in three months, but the investigation is still going on. Following the court order, arrests were made in the case and statements of 164 people were recorded. In such a situation, the hearing on framing of charges should not be started now.

On the other hand, CBI opposed the argument of the accused's lawyer and said, 'We will argue on all the charge sheets that have been filed in the case.' After hearing the arguments, the court said, 'We have not yet received the copy of the application. The next hearing in this case will be on May 7.
