Giridih, 23 April (HIST). BJP candidate from Koderma parliamentary seat and Union Minister Annapurna Devi will file nomination papers on April 29. Apart from these, Kalpana Murmu Soren, wife of former Chief Minister of the state Hemant Soren, will also file nomination papers for the by-election on Gandey assembly seat on April 29.
Many big leaders including state BJP president Babulal Marandi will be included in the nomination of Annapurna Devi. Kalpana Soren's nomination will include Chief Minister Champai Soren and several ministers of the state government, including JMM's Rajya Sabha member Sarfaraz Ahmed, Giridih MLA Sudipya Kumar Sonu and several leaders of Congress and RJD. According to JMM, after Kalpana Soren files her nomination, an election meeting of Chief Minister Champai Soren will be held in Paparvatand of Gandeya assembly constituency.
