Ranchi, 23 April (Hindus). Bihar STF team has arrested a criminal in Namkum police station area on Tuesday. According to the information, a criminal, Amit Pandey alias Brajesh, who was leaving the Sureshwar Mahadev temple situated on the banks of Swarnarekha river after worshiping, has been caught. Bihar STF arrested him in filmy style. Then the team left after making him sit in the Scorpio vehicle. It is being told that a case of murder was registered against him. Besides, a warrant was also issued from Sitamarhi court.
He was currently living hiding in Namkum Basti located in Namkum police station area of Ranchi. STF arrested the accused from Ranchi on technical input. After getting the location of the accused, on Tuesday the STF team reached near the temple in a Scorpio vehicle and caught him. The entire incident of the youth's arrest has been captured in the CCTV installed in the temple. Like every day, Amit Pandey had reached the temple to worship today. Meanwhile, at around 11.30, the Bihar STF team was also standing near the temple. As soon as Amit came out of the temple and went to the flower shop to give money. Meanwhile, the STF team surrounded him and forcibly took him to Namkum police station in a Scorpio. Seeing the young man being forcibly seated in the Scorpio by some people, the people nearby immediately informed the police. Then the news of kidnapping spread like wildfire.
