It is generally seen that when people are young, especially men, they develop a superstition that anything can happen in their life, but they will never grow old. Perhaps that is why they are always full of pride in their youth. Most of them are proud of their size, body, beauty, land and beauty. Not only do they consider others as poor, they also consider the elders in their own family as poor. They make fun of them. They think that these old people are born old and they themselves are born young and will remain young. They forget that time is neither anyone's slave nor anyone else's slave. Time, like a wild elephant, moves continuously and uninterrupted. Famous poet Bhai Veer Singh has written about this 'time' as follows:
Didn't consider “time”,
Dharik is holding it, the trowel slipped in 'time'…
Bhai Veer Singh tried his best to convince people, but some young boys have become blinded by the superstition that time can be tied. Can be stopped they are so ignorant and pathetic. They do not know that one who is born will grow young with time, grow old with time and die with time. Friends, today's era is digital era. That is the age of social media. Due to this, the world has come closer and has taken the form of a global village, but how have all the creatures living in the same house in the same village become distant from each other? What a long distance has come in their relationship. Deep trenches have been made. The decline has come. Not everyone is blessed by nature but they are busy in the digital i.e. electronic world. Lost and lost. No one cares about anyone else nor does he feel the need for anyone else's touch and company. There are more things and issues about this electronic age, but today we will discuss the thoughts and ideas of the modern young generation about the elderly. I have seen many times that when some older people post their posts on social media, most of the youth make obscene, rude and bad comments on those posts.
Which testifies to the lack of respect for elders in their hearts. For example, recently a 60-65 year old woman posted a video of herself dancing to a film song. She was fulfilling her heart's desires. What happened next was a flood of lewd comments from some young boys. I felt sad after reading some of them, but only he knows what must have gone through the mind of that old lady. Check out some sample comments: 'The old mare with the red bridle', 'My mother is dancing in the grave', 'My mother you should be ashamed'. This is the age of chanting the name of God and you are dancing. Stop this dancing and singing. This is not your part. And there are also some comments and photos I can't share with you. Apart from this, some news were also seen and read recently. In one case, a young lawyer's son, his wife and son are seen beating their elderly mother.
When the mother's married daughter came to know that her brother was committing incest with the mother, she made a video of the brother and his family beating the mother with the CCTV camera installed in the house for proof. Later, she gathered courage and wrote a police complaint against her brother, sister-in-law and nephew and the matter came to light. The reason for this unfortunate act was that the sooner the mother died, the sooner all the land and property in her name would become theirs. Many more cases come to light. In many homes, pets like dogs, cats etc. are given more importance than the elders of the house, but the elders of the house are considered wasteful expenditure. They are sent to orphanages. That is why the number of orphanages is increasing and many people are running orphanages as a business. Therefore, my young friends, now is the time for you to heed and act on the words written about the times of Bhai Veer Singh. Learn to respect, serve and honor your elders because one day you too will grow up. Then don't say that no one explained it to us.
