Blood donation camp organized in NTPC Kahalgaon

Bhagalpur, 22 April (HS). 'Blood Donation Camp' was organized on Monday by Mayukh, a social and cultural organization of NTPC Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur in collaboration with Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and NTPC's Jeevan Jyoti Hospital on Monday with the spirit of donating blood.

On the occasion, the project head, in his inaugural address, termed blood donation as a great donation and said that our social organization Mayukh has done a very commendable work for social welfare by organizing a blood donation camp. Blood donation is an embodiment of humanity, it can save many lives and also provide a second chance at life to many victims. For this, the officials of Mayukh, all the unions and associations, NTPC personnel, CISF personnel, rural and Deeptinagar women who donated blood thanked them.

In this blood donation camp, 69 men and 05 women (total 74) people voluntarily donated blood and set a new example of social service. On the said occasion, officials and volunteers of Mayukh, doctors and paramedical staff of NTPC and Bhagalpur Hospital cooperated. The vote of thanks was given by Mayukh General Secretary Asesh Singha Roy.
