Dehradun, 22 April (HS). In Graphic Era, students made posters calling for making the environment plastic free. Sneha Badoni stood first in the poster making competition.
On World Health Day, many activities including poster making competition were organized at Graphic Era Hill University. A street play was also performed in the university on the theme of Planet vs Plastic and a cleanliness drive was also conducted. In the poster making competition, Sneha Badoni stood first, Ayush Suyal stood second and Vibhi Rawat stood third.
In the street drama organized on this occasion, Praveen, Geetika, Alka, Anant, Nisha and Parminder of Team Aina gave the message to the students not to litter and to use plastic as little as possible. During the program, students and teachers made people aware about it by running a cleanliness drive in the university campus.
The program was organized by the Department of Environmental Science. Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. in the program. R. Gauri, Registrar Prof. Arvind Dhar, HOD Dr. Arvind Chauhan, Dr. Kamal Kant Joshi, Prerna Sharma, Aanchal Saklani and Sanghpal Mhaske of Department of Fine Arts were also present.
