Dr. Ambedkar's contribution to journalism is unique: Sunil Mahawar

A one-day seminar on socio-cultural consciousness in the journalism of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was organized on Monday under the aegis of the Department of Media Studies of Mahatma Gandhi Central University. The patron of the seminar was Vice Chancellor Prof. It was Sanjay Srivastava. The main speaker Prof. Sunil Mahawar and special speaker Nitish Kashyap, pracharak of Champaran department of RSS were present.

Main speaker Prof. Sunil Mahawar said that Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's contribution to the country's independence was no less than Gandhiji. His contribution was not only for the Dalits but for the entire society. His special contribution to the Constitution can never be called forth. Comparing the society to a ship, he said that just as if there is a hole in any one part of the ship, the whole ship sinks, in the same way, if atrocities are committed against a particular caste of the society, then the entire society has to suffer losses. Are.

He said that Dr. Ambedkar has made a unique contribution to journalism. Magazines like Mooknayak, Bahishkrit Bharat, Samata, Prabuddha Bharat published by him played a very important role in the independence of the country and the welfare of the society. Dr. Ambedkar had said that journalism should be logical, free from judicial bias and sensationalism. Special speaker Nitish Kashyap said that to know Ambedkar it is important not to read but to understand him.

He said that today we are living in a time where we show love and goodwill towards animals and birds, while on the other hand, we treat our equal humans worse than animals. He said that India is a country which has epics like Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, then it does not suit the people here to be irrational.

He said that Ambedkar and struggle are two words which cannot be separated. There is need for equality more than unity in society. Dr. Shivendra Singh, Assistant Professor of Commerce Department, RSS District Pracharak Manu Shekhar and many students and students were present in the program.
