Summer has started in the country. However, different weather patterns are being seen across India. It is extremely hot in some states, while in some parts of the country the weather remains cold due to rain and snowfall.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan today i.e. on 21st April. Heat wave alert has been issued in West Bengal, Telangana, Bihar and Jharkhand. Apart from this, there are chances of snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand also.

The induced cyclonic circulation is over Pakistan and adjoining Punjab.
Apart from this, another cyclonic circulation has formed over the central part of Assam. A trough extends from northwest Bihar to the cyclonic circulation over central Assam. A cyclonic circulation has formed over Marathwada. There is a trough/dissection of air from the cyclonic circulation from Marathwada to interior Karnataka to south Tamil Nadu. A cyclonic circulation has formed in the south-east of the Bay of Bengal.
