East Champaran, April 20 (HS). In view of the impending Lok Sabha elections, the police officials of both the countries are concerned about the security in Jharukhar police station of India-Nepal border area, to conduct the elections in a fair and peaceful manner and to keep a close watch on the sensitive roads in view of the open border of India-Nepal. The meeting was held. The meeting was presided over by Sikarhana DSP Ashok Kumar.
During the meeting, to ensure peace on the border of both the countries and to stop infiltrators, Harendra Kumar Thakur of Auraiya Nepal Post, in-charge of Motipur Sentinel Post Deependra Kumar Shah, in-charge of Kachorwa Sentinel Post of Bara district Rupam Pandit, Bankatwa Circle Officer Atul Kumar Badal along with Personnel from other border police posts were present.
