Rain will provide relief from heat in Uttarakhand, chances of snowfall on high peaks

Dehradun, 20 April (HS). There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand for the next three days. Some areas of the state may remain partly cloudy. There are chances of light rain at some places. Weather patterns may remain change across the state. In such a situation, there will be relief from the scorching heat these days.

Light rainfall may occur in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal and Pithoragarh. There is a possibility of light rain in the hilly districts of the state on April 20 and 21. There are chances of rain across the state on April 23. Snowfall is expected in areas at altitude above 4000 meters. There are chances of partly cloudy sky in Doon also.

According to Dr. Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Center, the weather patterns may change at some places in the state. Light rain may occur in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh. There are chances of partly cloudy sky in Doon also.
