Ranchi, 20 April (HS). The court of Additional Justice MC Jha on Saturday rejected the bail plea of Rahul Kujur, the main accused in the murder case of Sanjay Kumar, accountant of land businessman Kamal Bhushan. Earlier on Friday, the court had rejected the bail plea of another accused in the case, W Kujur.
In the case, both are accused that accountant Sanjay Kumar was murdered at the behest of Rahul Kujur and W Kujur. On July 5, 2023, accountant Sanjay Kumar was returning home from office. During this time the shooters shot and killed him. SIT was formed regarding the murder. In the case, case number 269/2023 was registered in Sukhdev Nagar police station against 10 accused including W Kujur, his wife Sushila Kujur and son Rahul Kujur.
All the accused in the case are in jail. Charges against them are to be framed in the court on April 22. In this case too, a case (case number 238/2022) was registered in Sukhdev Nagar police station against several accused including W Kujur, Sushila Kujur and Rahul Kujur.
