Kanpur, April 20 (Hindustan Reporter) Kanpur court may give its verdict on Saturday in the case of Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki. This information was given by ADGC Bhaskar. However, till now the decision has been postponed six times.
Kanpur MP-MLA Special Court on Saturday summoned accused MLA Irfan Solanki and brother Rizwan from Maharajganj jail in the case of setting fire to the hut built in Nazir Fatima's plot in Jajmau.
DGC Criminal Dilip Awasthi said that in the case, the police has first filed a charge sheet in the court against the MLA and his brother and other accused in this case Shaukat Pehalwan, Israel Atta Wala and Mohammad Sharif.
So far 18 witnesses have been presented in this case, while the defense has presented three witnesses. After the completion of everyone's testimony, the case has reached its verdict. However, in the last six times, due to one reason or the other, the court has extended the date of the verdict.
Most importantly, the nomination process for the general Lok Sabha elections is currently going on. Police force has been deployed in view of security. However, it is also possible that the MLA's appearance is expected to take place through video conferencing.
