Today we will share the recipe of making soft and delicious Malai Paneer Kofta, which tastes better than the koftas available in the market. This dish will be liked by both adults and children. Ingredients for Malai Paneer Kofta:
2 medium sized boiled potatoes, mashed
20 grams cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ginger paste
2 teaspoon cornflour powder
Instruction:
In a mixing bowl, add mashed potatoes, cheese, salt, ginger paste and cornflour powder and mix well.
Shape the mixture into small balls or koftas as per your choice.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium flame. Fry the koftas until they become light golden. Take them out and place them on a paper towel.
For gravy:
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds, 2 cardamoms, 1 clove, 6-7 cashew nuts and 2 spoons of melon seeds and fry them lightly in oil.
Add 2 cups chopped tomatoes, 1 green chilli and some chopped coriander leaves.
Add salt and red chili powder and stir well.
Add half cup water, cover and cook until tomatoes become soft.
Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool. Put the mixture in a blender and blend until smooth.
In the same pan add 1 tsp oil and pour the mixed gravy back into the pan.
Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasoori methi and garam masala and mix well.
When the gravy starts boiling, add the koftas in it. Before serving, sprinkle some cream or butter on the koftas and garnish with fresh coriander.
