The meeting of the State Level Small Industries Promotion Board will be held today (Tuesday) under the chairmanship of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Chetan Kashyap in the auditorium of Hotel Palash at 12.30 noon. MSME Department Secretary P. Narahari said that all 13 members of the board have been invited to the meeting.
It is noteworthy that the State Level Small Industries Promotion Board was reconstituted to give suggestions on schemes etc. along with development, promotion and making policies for micro, small and medium enterprises in Madhya Pradesh. Its Chairman is the Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. 9 official members and 12 non-official members have been nominated in the board. The Director of the Directorate of MSE Industries will be the Member Secretary of the Board. The board meeting has been scheduled to be held at least once every three months.
Along with resolving the difficulties of small industries, the board will also take state-level action on ease of doing business etc. Micro, Small and Medium Department, Urban Development and Housing Department, Environment Department, Labor Department, Principal Secretary of Energy and Revenue Department, Industries Commissioner, Managing Director of Small Industries Corporation and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh TRIFEC have been nominated as non-official members in the board. .
Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh Small Industries Association, Laghu Udyog Bharti, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ASSOCHAM, CII MP, Association of Industries MP, All India Manufacturers Organization, MP Association Women Entrepreneurs, Federation of Chamber Commerce Industries and MP as non-official members. Provision has been made to nominate the President of Small Scale Industries Organization, one member each from Dalit Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries and two more members from other industry associations by the state government.
