Ranchi, 18 April (Hindus). Static Surveillance Team (SST) has been formed on Thursday to conduct peaceful and fair Lok Sabha elections in Ranchi. A supervisory officer has been deputed in the formed team. With the release of the notification of the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, SST has become active in the areas of Tamar and Mandar assembly constituencies of Ranchi district which fall in Khunti and Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituencies.
The static surveillance team will maintain continuous surveillance for 24 hours in three shifts. The team has been divided into three different groups, which will remain active till the counting of votes. SST has been instructed to search vehicles and persons along with videography keeping an eye on huge amount of cash, illicit liquor, any suspicious object and weapons. District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha has instructed the static surveillance team to work in coordination with the flying squad team.

– In Mahugaon-Fatehpur road, Lapung, Fatehpur.
-Karra-Kakariya Path Lapung
-Puranapani-Lapung path in Dolaiya
-Lapung-Sisai Road in Parsa
-Gumla Road and Lohardaga Road near Bedo Block.
-Ranchi-Gumla Road in Purnapani
-Kudu-Ranchi Path, near Chanho
