Ranchi, 18 April (Hindus). A partial hearing was held on Thursday in the court of CBI Special Judge PK Sharma on the anticipatory bail petition filed by High Court advocate Rajiv Kumar, accused in the Kolkata cash scandal case. The court has fixed April 25 as the next hearing date.
On February 3, the Delhi branch of CBI had filed a charge sheet against Kolkata businessmen Amit Aggarwal and Rajeev Kumar in the cash case. Taking cognizance of this, the court has issued summons to the accused. Rajiv Kumar has filed an anticipatory bail petition for relief on April 4. Amit Aggarwal is in jail in this case. Rajiv Kumar was arrested in Kolkata with Rs 50 lakh in cash. Amit Aggarwal was involved in this. As part of a conspiracy, Amit Aggarwal called Rajiv Kumar from Ranchi to Kolkata and got him arrested.
