Delhi Excise Policy: Shock to Manish Sisodia from the court, custody extended till 26 April

It seems as if the bail of Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has been eclipsed regarding the Delhi Leaker scam policy. Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia till April 26 in the Delhi liquor scam case.

Even before this Rouse Avenue Court had given a shock

It is noteworthy that former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was in jail for the last one year in the Delhi Excise Policy scam case, had not got relief earlier also. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has refused to grant him bail and extended his judicial custody till April 18.

Manish Sisodia is expected to come out of jail

Earlier, Manish Sisodia had written a letter to his voters from Tihar jail, in which he compared their situation with the atrocities committed by the British on freedom fighters and expressed his commitment towards education. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia, arrested in the Delhi Excise Policy scam case, has also expressed hope that he will soon be released from jail.

Due to which AAP leaders received huge amount as bribe. Earlier on April 2 also, the bail application of Manish Sisodia was heard. Meanwhile, he told the court that there is no point in keeping him in jail because the ongoing investigation against him has ended.

He was arrested on 26 February

The former deputy CM was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on February 26, 2023, for his alleged role in the scam. Sisodia was arrested by the ED on March 9, 2023 in a money laundering case related to the CBI FIR. Let us tell you that Sisodia had resigned from the Delhi Cabinet on 28 February 2023.
