New Delhi, April 18 (Hindustan Reporter) The Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) 2024 will be held in Trinidad and Tobago from August 21 to 29. The tournament will feature three teams Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders.
There will be six group matches in the tournament and the final match will be played on August 29. This will be the first time that the WCPL will take place ahead of the men's Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League, featuring the best women's players from across the region and the world.
“We would like to thank Trinidad and Tobago for agreeing to host this tournament and we look forward to hosting the WCPL before the start of the men's tournament,” Caribbean Premier League CEO Pete Russell said in an official statement on Wednesday.
