Koderma, 17 April (Hindus). A panoramic view of amazing sports and traditional weapons was seen on the streets of Koderma district on Wednesday. With the glory of Ramnavami, the great festival of the birth anniversary of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram, the entire district echoed with the chants of Jai Shri Ram. Every street and square was resonating with the hymns of Ram Navami. The sound of Danke was increasing the enthusiasm of Ram devotees. On the other hand, a crowd of devotees holding big Mahavira flags were displaying bravery and chanting Jai Shri Ram.
Har and Mahavir were waving the flag only. The workers of the Hindu organization were encouraging the passion of the young players by showing the amazing game of sticks along with the traditional performance. Since the very morning, O Bajrangbali, remove the pain of the suffering people, you are called the rescuer of distress, you are Maryada Purushottam, tell me why did you break the dignity, Shri Ram Janaki sat… as if the sound of bhajan and stick broke the sleep of Ram devotees. Every Ram devotee was seen immersed in the devotion of Lord Ram. Bravery was also displayed at other places including Koderma, Jhumritilaiya, Satgawan, Markachho, Chandwara, Jaynagar and Domchanch. During this time, officers were seen patrolling for security. Station in-charge Sujit Kumar was deployed with a large number of police forces. Dozens of players of Akhara committees from Jhumritilaiya city and rural areas reached Jhanda Chowk and demonstrated their bravery.
Due to the enthusiasm of Ram devotees, crowd gathered in many areas of the city including Pura Chowk. Players were performing their game amidst the sound of sticks along with the tune of Ram Bhajans, and were chanting Jai Shri Ram along with Mata Sita and Sankat Mochan Hanuman. During this time people did not even get a place to step. Beautiful tableaux were taken out on Maharamanavami in Koderma. During this period, people of Akhara committees also demonstrated sports. Starting from Indarwa complex in Koderma, people arrived from places like Jalwaabad, Nagarkhara etc. The flow of coming and going continued till late night. At the same time, in Domchanch, attractive tableaux taken out from various places refreshed the memories of many eras for the people, in which many beautiful tableaux of various incarnations of Lord Ram, Ram Sita marriage etc. were attractively decorated.
On coming from its Akhara towards cities, arrangements for drinking water were made in various areas. The Akhara parties were being warmly welcomed with loudspeakers. Due to which the enthusiasm of the people participating in the Akhara parties was doubling significantly. Apart from Umesh Ram, Gajendra Ram, Binod Kumar Munna, Amit Kumar, Sajid Hussain, Aftab Alam also participated in the procession taken out in Jalwaabad of Koderma.
