Mumbai: Students have claimed that some pages of answer sheets written by students in the examinations of various courses conducted by Mumbai University have gone missing and this has affected the results of the students. Many students have given ATKT and some have failed. In such a situation, questions have been raised on the system of scanning answer sheets of the examination department of the university.
A student studying in the fourth year of BE Civil appeared for the seventh semester examination. He got low marks in two subjects and ATKT. Therefore, the student applied to Mumbai University for re-examination of both the papers. When the student got the copy of the answer sheet, she noticed that only a few pages of the answer sheet were missing. Now he fears that if this incomplete answer sheet is scrutinized, his year will be ruined. All pages of the answer sheet should appear in the PDF sent by the University. But the student has expressed concern over his non-appearance. He has also complained to the examination department of the university regarding this matter.
The members of UBT Yuva Sena have alleged that the private company which was entrusted with the work of scanning the answer sheets of the examination department. He has committed many mistakes in examination work, yet the university administration is turning a blind eye.
