Minister Parmar said that India has always been a people-based society, the British had created this misleading image of us. Education in India was widespread and all-inclusive. He said that our traditions have also been based on science. There is importance in Indian culture of lighting a lamp under Tulsi after sunset. We believe that trees and plants sleep at night, hence plucking fruits, flowers or leaves at night is prohibited. This is not just a value based tradition but it is a science based tradition. It is possible to solve the questions of the society through research into Indian beliefs, traditions and genres as per the needs of the society. We all have to ensure our contribution in fulfilling the resolution of a developed India by the year 2047. To make India the best on the world stage, expression of the sense of identity is necessary.
