Three suppliers of illegal liquor smuggling arrested in Jaipur city

Jaipur, 16 April (HS). Jaipur Commissionerate's Special Team (CST) has registered three cases under the Excise Act and arrested three accused by taking action in Karni Vihar, Muhana and Kanota police station areas as part of the special campaign being run against illegal liquor mafias and seized illegal liquor from them. 305 paves of country liquor and two-wheeler used for transportation have been recovered.

Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, as part of the special campaign being run against illegal liquor mafia in Jaipur city, CST took action in Karni Vihar, Muhana and Kanota police station areas and arrested Nem Singh resident of Kuchera. District Nagaur Hall Kardhani Jaipur, Kisan Sansi resident Deoli Tonk Hall Shiprapath Jaipur and Ganesh resident Niwai District Tonk Hall Kanota Jaipur have been arrested and the police have recovered 305 pavs of illegal country liquor and a two-wheeler from the spot. Many more incidents are likely to be revealed during police interrogation.
