Madhya Pradesh is performing excellently in sports: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal, 19 February (HS). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh will go ahead in the entire country in the field of sports. The state government is already providing basic facilities for sports, more facilities will be provided to the players in future. Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is performing excellently in sports. The country is moving forward under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Players of the state are performing excellently in all sports except Kabaddi and wrestling. He said that it has been decided to promote sports trainers in the state. An excellence college will be built in every district.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the felicitation ceremony organized by Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association at Samanvay Bhawan on Monday evening. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang, MLA and Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association President Ramesh Mendola, MLA Sandeep Jaiswal, Olympic Association Secretary Digvijay Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare Smita Ghate and seniors were present at the ceremony. Officials, players and sports lovers were present. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was honored by presenting him a shawl, quince, garland and a statue of Rajabhoj.

Announcement of giving Rs 11 lakh to Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, preparations for the Olympic Games of 2036 and 2040 have already been started in the country. The government is worrying about sports and players from time to time. We will take sports forward in the state in collaboration with the sports department as well as higher education, school education etc. Grants will be given to all institutions. He announced to give Rs 11 lakh to the Olympic Association from the Chief Minister's voluntary grant.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that I am confident that the state will move ahead in sports through the new players who have sounded the conch shell today. There is a lot of potential for development of sports in Madhya Pradesh. Congratulate Prime Minister Modi, he has made sports a curriculum in the new education policy. This is a very historic step. Sports are important in India. The bravery shown by Lord Shri Ram by breaking the bow is an example of our efforts and bravery. Gone are the times when we used to come empty handed in all the games. In all sports, rewards are coming from the change in the leadership of the country and the power of determination. Players will be taken care of in all types of promotions.

In the program, Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is a sports lover and a field person. If the players perform their best, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav himself will solve their problems. Be humble when you win. Play with dedication. A great man can be made only through humility. Have to perform your best. We are fortunate that Prime Minister Modi has tried to promote small sports also.

Sports Minister Vishwas Sarang said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has been an excellent wrestling player. That's why they have attraction, attachment and feeling for the game. He said that sports, players and places are essential for any civilized society. Earlier people were not enthusiastic about sports. Parents also kept their children away from sports. Gradually the thinking towards sports changed and we have progressed in every field of sports. The work done by the Central and State Government is the result that our men's, women's and boys' teams are winning in the world.

He said that with the vision of Prime Minister Modi, we will definitely move forward in sports. The Prime Minister, disregarding protocol, encouraged the players of our losing team. The Chief Minister worked for the upgradation of sports and remains concerned about the upgradation of sports. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav encouraged the players by getting a group photograph taken with them.
