Ranchi, 15 April (HS). Additional Chief Electoral Officer Neha Arora on Monday participated in the awareness workshop of Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) formed in the Masscom Department of Ranchi University under SVEEP. Addressing the workshop, he said that today elections are being held in many countries, but the whole world is looking towards the largest democracy, India. Young voters are especially important in building a healthy democracy. It is the responsibility of all of us to become familiar with the electoral process as well as to make people aware.
Additional Chief Electoral Officer Arora stressed on organizing the various activities mentioned in the directory related to ELC in a proper manner in democracy. He told the students present that to make people aware about the electoral process and voting, create content which is informative, so that people can know what provisions have been made by the Commission for the elections.
Information given on digital app and website related to elections
Nodal Officer Sweep Cell-cum-Deputy Development Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Yadav provided information about election related digital app and website to the students present during the workshop. Also stressed the purpose and significance of connecting young voters with the election process with the active participation of schools/colleges.
While giving information to the students, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Department, Anand said that videos, reels, memes, ringtones etc. have been released by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Jharkhand for voter awareness. All of you should use these materials and follow the social media handles of CEO Jharkhand for latest information related to the election process.

During the workshop, election related questions were also asked to the students. Students who gave correct answers were also given gifts. At last the Additional Chief Electoral Officer administered the oath of voting to everyone.
