Dehradun, 15 April (HS). Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) of Uttarakhand has started online booking of pujas for this Yatra year 2024 from Monday. This booking has been started from 15th April to 30th June.
Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Chief Executive Officer Yogendra Singh said that for the convenience of the devotees, online puja booking has been started from today (April 15 to June 30).
The pujas of Badrinath Dham mainly include the Mahabhishek and Abhishek puja of Lord Badrivishal in the Brahma Muhurta, besides Veda recitation, Geeta recitation, Vishnu Sahasranamavali, and evening gold aarti, silver aarti and evening Geet Govind recitation and sleeping aarti of Lord Badrivishal. Long term pujas are involved.
Similarly, in Kedarnath temple, long-term pujas include Shodashopachar puja, Rudrabhishek and evening aarti. Apart from this, devotees can also voluntarily donate to Uttarakhand.
BKTC media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that in the last Yatra year 2023, 19700 people booked pujas in Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath and more than 20000 devotees booked pujas online and a large number of devotees also made online donations.
