Mumbai: A nine-year-old boy died of electrocution after coming in contact with an open electric wire in a residential society in Goregaon (E).
In this regard, on the basis of the complaint of the father of the deceased child, a case has been registered against the president of the society, the minister and four officials at Dindoshi police station.
According to the FIR registered by the police in this regard, at 7.30 in the evening a nine-year-old child had gone to play in the garden on the ground floor of Aryaveer Society.
After this incident, child Aryaveer's father Ajay Choudhary (35) with the help of a person took him to a private hospital in Gokuldham, Goregaon (E), where doctors examined him and declared him brought dead. After the incident, the police registered accidental death. Due to the shock and grief of losing his son, Ajay was unable to give an immediate statement to the police.
On April 13, they formally filed a case against the society's president, secretary, treasurer and caretaker under IPC section 304A (causing death by negligence).
